Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork...
I'm Bill Haynes and my photo is on the left. I'm a Massage Therapist, Massage Educator and a Usui Reiki practitioner based in Hyattsville, Bowie and Annapolis, Maryland. I also set up and manage corporate and event chair and table massage through On-Site Oasis www.On-SiteOasis.com.
Soften, Stretch, Strengthen...
My style is often called integrated in the massage therapy profession. For clinical work I will use a combination of Myofascial (detail stretching) and Neuromuscular techniques (trigger point). This results in Deep Tissue treatment without the client's usual expectation of teeth gritting pressure. The results are generally more profound and are generally more permanent because the tissue is treated with respect.
Pain, Discomfort, Restricted Movement, Just Plain Stressed?
I entered the massage profession because I believe that bodywork can bring about great improvements in our health and well-being. I came to this conclusion from personal experience. Over the years I have have broken and dislocated bones, had tight and torn muscles, and strained tendons, ligaments, and cartilage in just about every quadrant of my body. It has always been massage and physical therapy that have restored my ability have natural and pain free movement after my body has mended. On top of that, healing seems to come faster when there is a peaceful mind and a contented spirit. That is why I believe in a bodywork experience that is focused on my whole client; their Body, Mind and Spirit. Bodywork should be a part of a basic healthcare and stress reduction routine. I invite you to experience the assistance to health and healing that a good bodyworker can provide.
